Reel and Meal at the New Deal (aka Movie Night, every third Monday of the month). Mother: Caring for 7 Billion breaks a 40-year taboo by focusing on population growth, which silently fuels our most pressing environmental, humanitarian & social crises. Robert Walker, the featured discussion leader, is the Executive Vice President of Population Institute, where he directs advocacy & public education activities, including its work on issues related to health, economic development, sustainability & the environment.

As usual the movie is free. Chef Karim will serve up a delicious vegan feast for $13/person.
