Beaverdam Creek Watershed Watch GroupAbout BCWWG[Inset map of region showing location] The Beaverdam Creek Watershed Watch Group is a citizen's organization dedicated to the preservation and environmental health of a subwatershed of the Anacostia River. The Beaverdam Creek watershed is located northeast of Washington D.C. near the towns of Greenbelt, Beltsville, and College Park, Maryland. Most of the watershed lies in the boundaries of the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center. The Anacostia River, a tributary of the Potomac River, flows through Washington, D.C.
